​Simon is a self taught sculptor, and has turned his love and passion for birds and wildlife into a full time career.

Simon spends a large amount of his free time exploring the Pennine countryside in the UK, drawing and watching the subjects that he sculpts.

​

The work is constructed in crank clay and decorated with a mixture of oxides and engobes. The firing process exceeds 1200 degrees Centigrade, making the sculptures suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Simon exhibits in many exhibitions and Galleries and one off exhibitions in both the UK and abroad.

​

Simon is a member of the society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA) and exhibits in their annual exhibition at the Mall galleries in London.

​

Simon also makes site specific sculptures to commission for private and corporate clients.
